Rain in June in Maun
HOORC researcher Professor Cornelis Vanderpost reports that over 50 mm rainfall was recorded over the past two days/nights near HOORC. This is the highest amount for June since recording started in Maun in the 1920s. So far the highest June rainfall for Maun was 17.1 mm, recorded in June 1966. In HOORC's Library, you can find Precipitation : theory, measurement and distribution by Ian C. Strangeways.
