Kansas State University Professor David Hartnett is visiting HOORC's Library today with a group of biology and parks management students on a southern Africa field course, Grassland and Savanna Ecology. Sponsored by the Institute for Grassland Studies at Kansas State University, the field course is taking the students to Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa, and Khutse Reserve and Khama Rhino Sanctuary in Botswana as well as Maun and Main UB campuses. The visit is part of an exchange programme between the University of Botswana and Kansas State, which also has a service learning component for undergraduate students at the University of Botswana in Gaborone.
