IFAD on participatory mapping

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has published Good practices
in participatory mapping: a review
. The report, developed collaboratively with the International Land Coalition (ILC), is a product of the project, Development of Decision Tools for Participatory Mapping in Specific Livelihoods Systems (Pastoralists, Indigenous Peoples, Forest Dwellers) which is working to ensure that the collective knowledge of local peoples is used to influence their capacity for planning and managing natural resources. The report is available online as a downloadable PDF file (1.96 mb).
