Water for agriculture and energy in Africa declaration

UNPulse has alerted us to to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)'s publication of the final declaration of the Pan-African Ministerial Conference on Water for Agriculture and Energy in Africa: The Challenges of Climate Change. The declaration, issued at the Sirte Water and Energy Conference in December 2008, aims to foster research and development of renewable energy and agriculture in Africa to increase resilience and adaptation to climate change.
