European Space Agency wetlands event

The European Space Agency (ESA) and the Ramsar Convention Secretariat are organizing a meeting about new earth observation technologies for wetlands inventorying, assessment and monitoring. Globwetland Symposium: looking at Wetlands from Space , to take place in Rome on October 19th and 20th 2006, is aiming at bring together the wetlands conservation and earth observation communities of practice. Deadline for submissions of abstracts for the meeting is 30 June 2006 and for registration, 1 September 2006: submissions to be made through the symposium web site.
