Okavango-Upper Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area secretariat

AllAfrica.com reports that Zimbabwe will provide the secretariat for the Okavango-Upper Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (OUZTFCA), a scheme to support protection and management of wildlife and environment in Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The OUZTFCA is anticipated to form a crescent-shaped conservation area stretching from Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls and the Hwange Park) through Botswana (incorporating the Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta), Namibia (over the Caprivi Strip), the southeast corner of Angola and terminating in Zambia.
