Okavango Delta land use plan

The Botswana Daily News reported a kgotla meeting held in Maun in February to inform local stakeholders about progress made on the land use plan for the Okavango Delta Ramsar Site. Consultants explained the contents of the draft plan, reviewed in a final meeting of the reference group in December 2005, to members of the local community on behalf of the Tawana Land Board and the Northwest District Land Use Planning Unit.
