ATLAS Africa conference

ATLAS Africa (Association for Tourism and Leisure Education) and Moi University is hosting the ATLAS Africa conference 16–18 February 2006 in Mombasa, Kenya. The conference, Contested landscapes in tourism: culture, conservation and consumption, is organised jointly with the International Geographical Union’s (IGU) Commission on Tourism, Leisure and Global Change. The conference will focus on landscapes in tourism and their connection to culture, conservation and consumption in tourism research and management.
