The First Mphil Student to Complete at ORI

Okavango Research Institute celebrates and congratulates Gaolatlhe Tsheboeng for successfully defending his Master of Philosophy (Mphil) Degree in Natural Resource Management on the 29th January 2013.

Tsheboeng completed his studies under the scholarship of Regional Initiative in Science and Education and presented a thesis on “The Influence of Flood Variation on Seasonal Floodplain Vegetation Communities and Soil Nutrient Status in The Okavango Delta, Botswana”.

Dr Olekae Thakadu, School of Graduate Studies in ORI coordinator says “Tsheboeng is ORI’s first ever student to complete his studies”. He says this should be an encouragement to other students.
