It was a sombre moment last evening as staff and students of ORI bade their farewell to ORI Director, Professor Susan Ringrose. "Sue, as she was affectionately known, is an accomplished and well known scholar, and has published extensively both locally and internationally. In the words of those who spoke, she will be remembered "for her humility, approachable manner and unassuming nature". A long serving member of the University of Botswana, she assumed directorship of the Institute in 2008. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours and will be sadly missed by all at ORI.
