SADC 2010: Towards a seamless transport system
The author, Werani Zabula maintains that improving the regional transport sector and making it more cost effective will productivity, profits and development for the SADC region. For SADC to reach its goals of regional and economic integration and poverty reduction, access to raw materials and markets at affordable is a fundamental basis for global productivity and trade competitiveness. So in order for the region to reach a competiti9ve edge, it is necessary to reduce the expenses of doingt business through the provision of a cost effective transport infrastructure.
