Last week ended with a bash to welcome and celebrate (Okavango Research Institute) ORI's birth. There were some welcome speeches by the ORI Director and her two Deputy Directors, where they outlines the objectives of ORI and their views on its future. This was also a platform to officially announce the Kgosi, the Assistant and the Kgotla, who contribute to the furture of ORI, as there are some plans to have a cultural village here at ORI. The ORIans enjoyed their birthday by sharing a cake, drinks and food as sign of unity and team work which is one of the pillars to help ORI excell as an international research institute.
