OKACOM at 4th SADC RBO Workshop

The Permanent Okavango River Basin Water Commission (OKACOM) presents its ideas about the potential for benefit sharing among riparian states today at SADC's 4th River Basin Organization Workshop in Gaborone. OKACOM joins ORASECOM, Komati Basin Water Authority and SADC's Groundwater and Drought Management Project in sharing reports, videos and publications about the organizations' recent work with other RBOs and government representatives from the region. The two day meeting, sponsored by GTZ, has also launched the finalized Guidelines for Strengthening River Basin Organizations.
