Ephemeral rivers project news
The December 2008 - February 2009 issue of the Ephemeral River Basins (ERB) newsletter has arrived in HOORC's Library, including a story about the project's participation in the Waternet Symposium on Water and Sustainable Development for Improved Livelihoods. The ERB team produced a poster that compared community participation in river basin management in the three basins included in the study -- the Buffels River in South Africa, the Fish River in Namibia and the Boteti River in Botswana.
