9th WaterNet/WARFSA/GWP-SA Symposium

The 9th WaterNet/WARFSA/GWP-SA Symposium, Water and Sustainable Development for Improved Livelihoods takes place this year at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa on 29 – 31 October 2008. The symposium promotes interaction among policymakers, academics, practitioners and ultimately all those involved in the water sector as well as key cooperating partners in identifying regional issues, gaps and priorities that require further research and support. Emphasis is placed on integration of knowledge, particularly involving scholars from the natural, medical and social sciences. Deadline for registration is 31 August 2008.
