The Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Africa Steering Group launched its report of its 2008 recommendations at the African Union summit meeting in early July 2008. The MDG Africa Steering Group was convened in September 2007 and brings together the leaders of multilateral development organizations to identify the practical steps needed to achieve the Millennium Development Goals and other internationally agreed development goals in Africa.
