Cuiabá Declaration on Wetlands

Wetlands specialists, including HOORC researchers Professor Lars Ramberg and Dr Piotr Wolski, attending the 8th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference in Brazil, issued the Cuiaba Declaration on the last day of the conference July 25th, 2008, calling for more conservation of the world's marshes, tidal marshes, peat bogs, swamps, river deltas, mangroves, tundra, lagoons and river floodplains.
