FAO agricultural biodiversity work

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) actively promotes the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity for food and agriculture, providing intergovernmental fora where biodiversity-related policy is discussed and relevant agreements negotiated and adopted by member countries. The FAO's web pages about agricultural biodiversity describe the organization's work in this area, and link to useful documents and other sites. In HOORC's Library, you can find the FAO's Guidelines for the integration of sustainable agriculture and rural development into agricultural policies.
