This year’s 9th Waternet/WAFRSA/GWPSA Symposium will be held from 29 – 31 October 2008 in association with the International Association for Hydrological Sciences (IAHS) in Johannesburg. The theme of the Waternet meeting will be “Water and Sustainable Development for Improved Livelihoods”. IAHS will be holding at the same time sessions for their International Commission on Water Resources Systems.

Deadline for Submission of Abstracts: 14 March 2008
Notification of Acceptance of Abstracts: 18 April 2008
Deadline for Submission of Full Papers: 31 July 2008
Deadline for Registration: 31 August 2008
Delegates Arrival: 28 October 2008
Delegates Departure: 01 November 2008.
All partner organisations interested in convening a special session at the 9th WaterNet/WARFSA/GPW-SA Symposium should send their expression of interest to the WaterNet at symposium09@waternetonline.org by 31 August 2008.
