OKACOM meeting in Maun

The 13th meeting of the the Permanent Okavango River Basin Water Commission (OKACOM) is being held this week from May 07 – 11 at Maun Lodge. Interviewing of candidates for the position of Executive Secretary is at the top of the agenda but participants will also discuss continuation of the GEF/OKACOM EPSMO Project, signing of the SIDA-OKACOM Agreement and will hold a participatory organisational planning workshop. In HOORC’s Library, you can find HOORC researcher Joseph Mbaiwa’s Causes and possible solutions to water resource conflicts in the Okavango River Basin : the case of Angola, Namibia and Botswana.
