New FAO LEAD report

Livestock’s Long Shadow –Environmental Issues and Options, produced by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) with the support of the multi-institutional Livestock, Environment and Development (LEAD) Initiative, suggests that livestock should be a major policy focus when dealing with problems of land degradation, climate change and air pollution, water shortage and water pollution, and loss of biodiversity.
