African Studies Association presentation

HOORC governance researcher Dr Rachel Demotts presented her paper, "The Kruger is Coming Here:" Local Perspectives on Internationalizing Conservation in Southern Africa at the African Studies Association's 49th annual meeting in San Francisco last week. Dr Demotts' presentation was part of a series of panels on environmental history and policy that included presentations of studies about energy policy, legacy landcapes, community forestry, environmental narrative and land claims.
