Wildlife management training newsletter
The latest issue of Motlhose (Bat-Eared Fox), the newsletter of the Maun based Botswana Wildlife Training Institute (BWTI) arrived in HOORC’s library this week. The issue includes articles about wildlife disease in Chobe National Park, the reintroduction of rhino in Moremi Game Reserve and game ranching in Botswana, as well as The Story of First Kisses and Winged Termites, a charming account by Bakang Baloyi, professional guide, of his experiences with three Kalahari Kung Basarwa bushmen. The BWTI offers the accredited courses, Certificate in Wildlife Management and Certificate in Conservation and Certificate in Professional Tour Guiding. You can find the BWTI's newsletter in HOORC’s Library.
