The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has released online slide presentations of selected material from its publication, One Planet, Many People: Atlas of Our Changing Environment for educational purposes. The slides provide a comprehensive, visual presentation of scientifically verifiable information about changes in the global environment, shown through remote sensing technology. The slides are grouped into regional and thematic sets covering themes, including water and lakes, forests, cropland, and grassland, and six geographical regions, including Africa.
You must be able to run Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 2003 to view the slides, which can be downloaded free of charge from the UNEP web site.
