International transboundary waters management meeting

The Third International Symposium on Transboundary Waters Management will be held in Ciudad Real, Spain, May 30th to June 2nd, 2006. The meeting, hosted by the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha and supported by UNESCO’s International Hydrological Programme, will look at all boundaries – human, ecological and political – related to water management in an interdisciplinary context. The previous two symposia were attended by water managers, policy makers, academics, consultants, and representatives of NGOs and international organizations.
