Cap-Net resource for IWRM

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)and the Global Water Partnership, an international network of organizations involved in water resources management, developed a useful web site as part of the programme of the International Network for Capacity Building in IWRM (Cap-Net). The site contains training materials and tools for learning about integrated water resources management, including links to publications and an online tutorial that can be used in workshops. The tutorial and other training materials are also available in CDROM format.

The first phase of the Cap-Net project, development of regional and country networks, including the southern African WaterNet, was completed in December 2005. Cap-Net has new funding from the EU and UNDP and will focus on implementation of water management principles.
