Public meetings in Maun

Public meetings about environmental legislation and tourism are being held in Maun this week. On February 2nd, the Botswana Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) will host a seminar about the implementation of the 2005 Environmental Impact Assessment Act and its implications for the development process. Ditiro Sekabodile is the contact. On February 3rd, Ecosurv will make a presentation about Tourism 2006, part of an EU-SADC Investment Promotion Programme to develop tourism business partnerships among EU and SADC region enterprises.
