Human-wildlife conflict meeting

The web site People & Wildlife alerted us to the Conference on Management of Conflicts between Wildlife and Human Resource Use, 25 - 27 January 2006 in Leipzig, Germany. The conference will review the findings of the EU-funded project Framework for Biodiversity Reconciliation Action Plans (FRAP) which has developed an approach to managing biodiversity conflict management. People & Wildlife also links to a story in The Namibian about the Nambia Ministry of Environment and Tourism's development of a human-wildlife conflict policy.
