Delta tourism application delays explained
The Botswana Daily News online reported at the close of the year an explanation by the Botswana Ministry of Lands and Housing of delays in consideration of applications for tourism activities by the Tawana Land Board. The explanation, that tourism land allocations for the Delta have been suspended until the completion of the Okavango Delta Management Plan in October 2006, was in response to a question in Parliament by the Okavango MP.
