Water shortages in Caprivi

AllAfrica.com shares a recent story from The Namibian newspaper about the possible need for the Namibian Ministry of Environment and Tourism to dig earth dams or drill boreholes to collect water for wildlife in in the Linyanti swamps area of the Caprivi region. Wildife officials have reported deaths of elephants from water shortages, as well as conflicts between people and wildlife over the use of water.
