Green Ngamiland

The rains continue in Ngamiland, sandy soil turning greener every day. HOORC Senior Research Fellow Cornelis Van Der Post sent us these images that show the change in vegetation from November to December this year. The images are available from the FAO's Environment and Natural Resources Service (SDRN) METART site.

In the library, we found Rainwater Catchment Possibilities for Botswana, a practical report prepared for the Botswana Technology Centre in April 1984 to "make the reader aware of the huge potential of rainwater catchment as a supplementary water
source in many parts of Botswana."
