Freshwater conservation economics report

ELDIS reviews a new WWF report that confirms that freshwater conservation practices lead to increased income, increased well-being, and reduced vulnerability. Using four case studies from South Africa, Colombia, China and Brazil, the report analyses how better management of freshwater resources contributes to the improvement of livelihoods of poor local communities.
