ORI Researcher Awarded Vice Chancellors Award for Publishing

The Okavango Research Institute researcher (ORI), Dr Emily Bennitt has been awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Publishing. Dr Bennitt has been working in ORI as a large herbivore ecologist since 2014.
Dr Bennitt has been involved in projects such as zebra, blue wildebeest, impala, tsessebe, springbok, rhino, human-wildlife conflict and leopard. Her ability to collaborate with multiple research organizations both in Botswana and internationally, with reference to the Royal Veterinary College (University of London), that have earned her this award through the publication of two Nature papers.
