ORI 2013 winter course students topic proposals were presented on the 19th of June. The topics showed augmented focus on various subjects around the delta, like;
Attitudes of the Okavango delta communities towards enviromental information: Anti littering messages which was presented by Ditiro Mmereki , A comparative analysis of consumptive and non consumptive tourism in concession areas of the Okavango by Moses Masake, Investigation of factors influencing impala population increase around Moremi game reserve by Keletso Keitshekile, An investigation of the extent of methane emission from septic tank in Maun: a case of global warming by Katlego Selelo, An investigation of the correlation between habitat use and cattle body condition over the dry season in Maun by Carol Motsholakgoko, An investigation of the extent and nature of wildlife poaching in CBNRM and Non CBNRM wildlife management areas in Ngamiland presented by Thamiso Raditloaneng, Factors influencing job dissatissfaction in tourist accomodation facilities by Pink Melamo, The influence of Socio- economic factors on deforestation in Maun by Banyana Kebafelefetse, An investigation of factors influencing persistence of veld fires in Ngamiland by Gabolete Gofetamang, Adoption of mitigation measures( chilli pepper) for controlling Human Elephant conflict on crop raiding which was presented by Wetshootsile Mmape, Analysis of stakeholder's opinions on hunting moratorium in Ngamiland by Kealeboga F Goetswang, Effectiveness of school based clubs in the implementation of enviromental conservation projects in Ngamiland by Gaone Rantsuo, An analysis of the contribution of Molapo farming to household income done by Jessica Moffat, Investigating poor implementation of the natural resource management component of CBNRM by Koodirile Thebe, Attitudes of communities around protected areas towards litter and littering and the last topic presented was An investigation on the contribution of small stock production to alleviate poverty in Ngamiland by Shingane Moampe.
