Proceedings of the first Climate Change Impacts, Mitigation and Adaptation Programme Scientific Conference, 2012

This report  focuses on promoting natural forest conservation, afforestation, reforestation and better agricultural practices for improved livelihoods related to the “Reduced Emissions from Deforestations and Forest Degradation (REDD)” initiative. In this first annual CCIAM scientific conference, researchers and representatives from NGOs and other stakeholders shared important experiences and opportunities in the course of piloting the REDD+ initiative. CCIAM shared experiences and opportunities are documented in these proceedings.
