Southern Africa has an extremely rich and diverse flora comprising about 24 500 taxa making up about 10% of the world's flora. It is also home to a wide diversity of cultural groups who utilise flora for traditional medicine. This publication is based on information derived from ethnomedicinal works as well as toxicological, ecological, floristic and specimen data sources and is now available in the ORI Library.A service of the Okavango Research Institute (ORI) Library, dedicated to supporting stakeholders involved in the management and conservation of Botswana’s Okavango Delta, drylands, and other wetland ecosystems.
