Next week Thursday, May 12th, Professor Terence McCarthy from the University of Witwatersrand Geosciences will deliver a presentation on “The Okavango Delta and its place in the evolution of the Southern African Landscape” 1800hrs at the Maun Lodge. Professor McCarthy has been involved in research on the geology of the Okavango Delta for 25 years and has published extensively on the subject. The lecture will be non-technical so that people with no knowledge of geology will be able to follow this fascinating story. The event is jointly coordinated by OKACOM, Okavango Research Institute (ORI) and Wilderness Safaris. All are welcome to attend.
