Yesterday, twenty councillors and staff from Suwa Town visited ORI on a educational tour, their main objective being to learn more about ORI's mandate as a Research Institute. Not only were they interested in the activities at the Institute, but wanted to know how communities can benefit from the research being carried out at the Institute. Their tour included visits to the Laboratories, Library and the Herbarium.
A service of the Okavango Research Institute (ORI) Library, dedicated to supporting stakeholders involved in the management and conservation of Botswana’s Okavango Delta, drylands, and other wetland ecosystems. ORI is a research institute of the University of Botswana.
