Survey of African environmental education

DG Communities has alerted us to a Pan-African survey by UNEP in cooperation with UNESCO of the status of environmental education and technology supported learning. The survey has been launched in response to a decision adopted by African environment ministers at the last African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (Johannesburg, 7-12 June 2008). Results of the survey should help revitalize and strengthen relevant strategies, programmes and action plans, and establish new initiatives on environmental education and technology supported learning. The results will be published by UNEP in collaboration with its key partners
and presented during a one-day seminar at eLearning Africa which will take place in Dakar, Senegal from 27-29 May 2009 . You can participate in the survey through this link.
