New in HOORC's Library: watershed services
All that glitters : a review of payments for watershed services in developing countries by Ina Porras, Maryanne Grieg-Gran, Nanete Neves, published by the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), is a recent addition to the Institute's series, Developing Markets for Watershed Services and Improved Livelihoods. This review and analysis of accessible ongoing initiatives and advanced proposals for watershed services market mechanisms looks at the trends in evolution of these activities, synthesizing available evidence on their environmental and social impacts, and drawing lessons for the design of future schemes. Case studies supporting the book are available online, and you can find the book itself in HOORC's Library.
