Biokavango Project Coordinator Dr. Nkobi Moleele has been nominated as the Botswana expert for the Second Meeting of the Second Ad Hoc Technical expert Group on Biodiversity and Climate Change organised by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity.

The Southern Africa Climate Change Network (SACCNET), a collaboration of SADC and Danish institutions, to improve knowledge about climate change and health, water and food security, has elected HOORC's Professor Moses Chimbari as interim committee chair. Plans are being made to gradually transfer the Secretariat to HOORC from the Danish Water Forum.
