Fund raising guidelines for conservation projects
Visiting botanical researchers Alison and Roger Heath of plantsandpeopleforafrica have shared Birdlife Botswana's Lilian Costa's recommendation of a useful fundraising manual from the Tropical Biology Association, which provides practical training for conservation biologists and practitioners through field courses, specialist skills workshops and applied research. The Association's 12 page Fundraising Guidelines was designed to accompany a practical training workshop to develop the capacity of African scientists to fundraise effectively for conservation activities that are top priority for their countries. You can find the manual online.
