Deforestation guide

UN Pulse has alerted us to a new publication for indigenous peoples about deforestation published by the United Nations University's Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS). The guide outlines the opportunities and risks related to reducing greenhouse gas emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, known as REDD. The guide, available online, is intended to introduce indigenous communities to climate change and to the current international debate surrounding REDD.
