New resource for tourism and climate change

The Climate and Tourism Information Exchange Service created by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is a new online resource to provide data, studies, policy papers, videos and other material related to tourism and climate change. Documents submitted by registered users are intended to contribute to the output from the 2nd International Conference on Climate Change and Tourism (Davos, Switzerland, 1-3 October 2007) and beyond. You can find details about the conference, which will address possibilities for mitigation in the transport sector, in hotels and other tourism establishments, of tourism’s impact on the natural environment, and strengthening the resilience of ecosystems, online.
