The IISD Linkages site recently updated its page, A Brief Introduction to Wetlands Conservation. The page describes the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance (Ramsar Convention) and provides information about recent decisions and work of the Convention's Standing Committee, Scientific and Technical Review Panel, and the Ramsar Bureau, which carries out the functions of a Secretariat. The IISD (International Institute for Sustainable Development – Reporting Services Division) – provides multimedia informational resources for environment and sustainable development policymakers.
