Lowveld rivers governance project

South Africa's Water Research Commission is seeking participation in a project to promote good governance of lowveld rivers in southern Africa. The project team, concerned about the need for an action research programme that includes the catchments of all rivers flowing through the Lowveld, from the Limpopo River in the North to the Maputo River in the South, and that this research should focus on practical issues of implementation and governance of water resources within an integrated socio-ecological framework, is circulating an account of a planning meeting held in January this year for comments.
