Transboundary natural resources management workshop

The Every River Has its People Project is holding a workshop -- Towards Ecosystem-Based Management -- in Maun today and tomorrow. The workshop, aimed at informing Okavango communities about transboundary natural resource management processes, will look at case studies from the Great Limpopo and Kgalagadi transfrontier parks and Etosha transfrontier area. Facilitators include representatives from SADC-RETOSA, IUCN and OKACOM. The new OKACOM website will be launched at the end of the workshop.
