campHOORC's Library had a visit today from Mr Matota Teko, Field Environmentalist for Okavango Wilderness Safaris. Mr Teko will be working in the Kwedi Concession in the northern Okavango with community escort and safari company guides to develop a monitoring strategy for areas near the company's Vumbura Plains, Little Vumbura and Duba Plains camps. Wilderness Safaris carries out a range of conservation activities in the Okavango area, including projects for wild dog, rhino and fire ecology research.
