New in HOORC’s Library: monitoring manual for savannas

Monitoring Manual for Grassland, Shrubland and Savanna Ecosystems from the US Department of Agriculture’s Jornada Experimental Range offers detailed practical instructions for monitoring soil and site stablility, watershed function and biotic integrity. The manual is in two parts, a quick start guide and a larger volume that provides instructions for setting up a monitoring programme and interpreting results. Special topics include riparian zone and wildlife habitat issues.
