Dr Richard Bell collection
Dr Richard Bell worked was wildlife biologist, who was popularly known for his wildlife monitoring techniques. He worked in various countries in Africa such as Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malawi, Botswana, Mozambique and Tanzania. His collection was also donated to ORI. The materials include books, notebooks, research reports and photographs.
The Hunting Records Collection
The collection, which included reports & spreadsheets contained correspondence, hunting quotas, trophy descriptions, concession location and biological specimens that were collected by BWMA between 1996 and 2014. It was transferred to the Okavango Research Institute Library (University of Botswana) where it was processed to prepare it for archival and improve its accessibility to users.
